As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for:
• Providing front-line, end to end customer service on personal lines policies, including; retention, account development, quoting and placing new business.
• Servicing on-going client needs, including; conducting needs assessment, advising on insurance matters, recommending solutions, being an advocate during the claims process, conducting care calls and processing renewals.
• Retaining and building the book of business through selling new policies to existing and new clients.
• Contacting Underwriters to discuss guidelines and policies.
• Keeping current on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
• Participating in team and individual training initiatives, to maintain and expand industry knowledge.
• Participating in community initiatives.
Qualifications:
• RIBO Licensed
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team oriented
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• Strong organization and documentation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• CAIB or CIP designation considered a strong asset
